Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information is collected when you use the website tehillim.co.il (the "Site") and the services connected to the musical project "Kol Sefer Tehillim — The Entire Book of Psalms" (the "Project"), what it is used for, and what rights you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.

1. Information collected automatically

Listening to the psalms and browsing the Site require no registration. While you browse, statistical information that does not identify you personally is collected:

• Google Analytics — usage data such as pages viewed, visit duration, device and browser type, approximate country and how you reached the Site.
• Google Ads — a measurement tag that shows whether the Project's advertising brought visitors to the Site and whether a song was played.
• Server logs — the Site is hosted on Google's Firebase Hosting, which keeps standard technical logs such as IP address and request time.

These services use cookies and similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the Site will keep working. Google's use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

2. Embedded content from other services

Videos on the Site are embedded from YouTube, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Playing a video sends information to YouTube under its own privacy policy. The memorial submission page uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse of the form.

3. Memorial pages

Submitting a memorial page is the only service on the Site where you actively provide information:

• Sign-in with a Google account — to submit, we receive from Google your name, your verified email address and an account identifier. We never receive your password.
• Memorial details — the name of the deceased and the names of their parents, dates, place of birth, the memorial text, links to photos and videos, and the chosen psalm. These details are published on the Site for the public once the memorial is approved. Please provide only information you are entitled to share.
• Your contact details — name, email and phone (if provided). They are stored separately, are never published, and are visible only to the Site administrators. They are used solely to contact you about the memorial you submitted.
• Draft — while you fill in the form, a draft is saved in your own browser only (local storage), and you can delete it at any time from the form.

The information is stored in Google's Firebase database.

4. The Facebook Page and the app "Kol Sefer Tehillim Poster"

"Kol Sefer Tehillim Poster" is an internal app used only by the Project's administrators to publish content on the Project's official Facebook Page. The app:

• Is not offered to the public and does not ask visitors to log in to it.
• Accesses only the Project's Facebook Page — publishing posts, videos and comments as the Page, and reading the Page's data.
• Does not collect, store or share personal information about Facebook users.

5. How the information is used

The information is used to operate the Site, improve it, produce statistics, publish memorials and answer inquiries. We do not sell personal information and we do not send marketing emails. If we contact you, it will be about a memorial you submitted or in reply to your inquiry.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not share personal information with third parties, except with the service providers listed in this policy (Google services: Firebase, Analytics, Ads, YouTube and reCAPTCHA) and only as needed to operate the Site, or when required by law or by an order of a competent authority.

7. Security

The Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to information submitted through the memorial form is restricted by permission rules. However, no system can be guaranteed to be fully immune to unauthorized access, and we are not liable for damage caused by such access beyond our control.

8. Links to other websites

The Site links to external websites and services such as YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or content of those sites, and using them is subject to their own terms.

9. Access, correction and data deletion

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741–1981, you may review the information kept about you, ask to correct it or ask to delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page, with the date of the update at the top.
