The Lord Has Heard My Plea

Psalm 6 is a prayer of pain, tears, repentance, and hope. King David turns to God from a place of weakness and fear, asking for mercy, healing, and rescue.

The central verse of the song is:

"The Lord Has Heard My Plea."

This psalm moves from trembling and exhaustion to confidence that God has heard the voice of weeping. It teaches that even in the darkest night, prayer can become a path back to hope.

This chapter is part of the larger journey of this project: to compose, with God’s help, the entire Book of Psalms in one emotional, Jewish, uplifting musical line.
